wannaXchange.com® adopted the age old concept of barter-trade and transformed it into the digital platform to facilitate the x-change of products and services between users.
Our main objectives
are to:
- To enable cost savings among registered users
- To create within the active x-changing community a trusted and cohesive relationship
- To establish new business contacts and references while trading items or services
- To contribute our fair bit in saving the environment, by not dumping your unwanted stuff
Items that you have grown tired of, items that you are no longer using or items that are of no value to you can all be put up for x-change. As the saying goes, one man's wreck can be another's riches. That's how the concept of wannaXchange.com® is born. It is an online platform to allow users to come together to x-change their items services. We aim to create the traffic and increase awareness, enabling wannaXchange.com® to be the premier site for x-change purposes.
2. How do I start to x-change items?
You can start by registering with wannaXchange.com® and sign up as a member. As a registered member, you will have your individual user account. You could start by posting items that you would like to put up for x-change online. Other users, both registered and non-registered, will be able to view your item(s). However, only registered users of wannaXchange.com will be allowed to post, to edit their x-change ads and to use other services available in the website.
3. Will I be charged for each x-change?
No. You just need to do a free sign up to be a member and you can start x-changing.
4. I don't seem to have anything to x-change. What can I do?
wannaXchange.com® has a comprehensive database with a wide variety of items put up for x-change by our users. You will be pleasantly surprised by the numbers and types of items that you can find. You may be amazed by the amount of items (both new and old ones) that are stuffed inside your cupboard, long forgotten!
5. Can I x-change a service instead of physical product?
Yes. You can x-change services instead of a product. For example, you can x-change a car wash or a hair cut service with other item(s) of similar X$ value so long as both parties are in consensus. There is no restriction on the type of services that can be x-changed as long as they are legal and do not fall under the Prohibited and Restricted Item List.
With the consent of both parties involved in the x-change, you can top up the difference in value using cash. For example, I wanted to x-change a Nokia phone worth X$200 for a Sony Ericsson phone of value X$300. If both users agreed to the x-change, then I will top up SGD$100 for the difference in value.
7. Can I pay cash to buy an item instead of x-changing for it?
Yes. You can opt to pay cash to purchase any items on the x-change list. It is at your own discretion as to how you want to negotiate the terms of x-change with the other users. wannaXchange.com® serves as a platform to facilitate the x-changes.
8. How do I contact the other x-changer or user?
Each registered user will be given an individual account that comes with a Private Message (PM) function. Communications between users could be through the PM or by other forms of contact that users preferred.
9. What happens if I do not receive or receive a bad condition x-change item?
wannaXchange.com® serves as a platform to allow users to carry out an x-change. It does not take responsibility for the terms of x-change and the condition of item(s) being x-changed. Having said that, we take strong stance against unethical and dishonest users. Should you have reasonable doubts on the integrity of a said user, you should report to the Administrator at admin@wannaxchange.com immediately. We promised to investigate and will not hesitate to suspend the account of any user who is found guilty of any misuse.
